Embark on a bus tour to the renowned Sinai mountain where Moses received the Ten Commandments. Your journey will begin in the late evening when you will be picked up from your Sharm el Sheikh hotel. Afterward, you will travel for three hours to reach Moses Mountain.
You will commence your ascent of the mountain at 2:00 am, which will take you three hours to climb up to an elevation of 2,285 meters. One of our guides will accompany you throughout the climb. You can opt to take a well-defined path that includes 700 steps, leading you to the mountain top just in time for the sunrise. From there, you can take in the breathtaking views. In case you find the climb challenging, you may choose to take a camel ride that will drop you off at the 700 steps. Once the sunrise is over, you can descend the mountain and head back to Sharm El Sheikh in your vehicle.
Upon descending Mount Sinai, your guide will meet you at the monastery's gate. Here, you will explore the Transfiguration Church, the Burning Bush, and the Well of Prophet Moses. Due to COVID restrictions, the monastery's visiting hours have been reduced. Finally, you will return to your Sharm el Sheikh hotel.
