Palea Kameni is a volcanic island within the Santorini Caldera. The island was formed by a series of volcanic eruptions that formed large deposits of pumice and dacite.
Nea Kameni is a small uninhabited island of volcanic origin located within the flooded Santorini caldera. It have formed over the past two millennia through repeated eruptions of dacite lava and ash. We stop for lunch nearby.
Red Beach is a volcanic sand beach located near Akrotiri. The beach is famed for its titular red-hued sand, and is one of the most scenic and interesting beaches on the island. We make a short stop for swimming there if the wind allow.
White Beach is one of the most remarkable and special beaches in Santorini. It is white pebbled surrounded by white towering cliffs that form a beautiful, small cove and provide partial shade.
Mesa Pigadia is a small, quiet beach surrounded with spectacular rocks. There is also a cave that leads to White Beach for the adventurous travellers. It's the best spot for swimming with dark blue, crystal-clear water.
Our cruise begins and finishes in Vlychada, quiet village noted for the black-pebble Vlichada Beach, backed by wind-sculpted, volcanic cliffs. Contemporary exhibitions are held at the Santorini Arts Factory, and the Tomato Industrial Museum features vintage equipment and machinery used in the tomato-canning industry.
Akrotiri Lighthouse is a 19th-century lighthouse on the Greek island of Santorini. The lighthouse was built by a French company in 1892, making the lighthouse one of the oldest in Greece. We will see it from the water on our way to Caldera.
