The Tunisian Sahara is a dreamy desert, where sun-drenched dunes and camel-riding Bedouins live in an ocean of sand. This two-day tour offers you the opportunity to see sites worthy of a blockbuster movie. You explore places such as the granaries of the Gharfas, the markets of Tataouine, Cheninni and the underground residences of Matmata, with an overnight stay in Ghilaine.
Your first stop will be the Tataouine market. Awaken your inner Jedi as you wander through the spice-scented souk in search of must-see souvenirs. We'll then head into the Berber mountain village of Chenini. Perched on top of a hill, it has an ancient Ksar and a whitewashed mosque where villagers go to pray. You will spend the night in the picturesque oasis of Ksar Ghilaine and enjoy an authentic Arabian night in the Sahara.
You'll explore the villages of Matmata and Sidi Idriss Hotel, famous for their lunar landscape and some of the Star Wars filming locations, before ending your tour in the village of Toujene.
