Pick up from the airport, you will depart for Lake Nakuru on the western direction. You will ascend the eastern wall of the Rift Valley where lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guide will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya. You will have a short stop-over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photographs and then proceed with your drive to arrive in Lake Nakuru in time for lunch. After lunch, you will set for a game drive in the park in searches of the big five animals’ like a lion, rhino, leopard and cheetah and more other animals. Lake Nakuru is famous for its millions of flamingoes and migrant birds from over the world; in Nakuru, we have up to 425 different bird species. You will leave back to the hotel before dark for your dinner and overnight at your hotel Wagon wheel.
Enjoy your breakfast in the camp. Check out thereafter and drive via Narok town to Masai Mara National Reserve, the land of the Masai tribe. The proud young Masai warrior-nomads with their plaited hair, red cloaks, and spears, challenge your curiosity. The 700-square-mile Game Reserve is the Africa of your dreams, complete with wild animals grazing amid the superb rolling landscape of gentle hills and acacia woodlands. Check in to your lodge; enjoy your lunch in the lodge. There will be time to settle in before your first game drive. Afternoon game drives in the reserve and return to the lodge before dark. Dinner and overnight at Aa Mara Camp.
After your breakfast, you will leave with your picnic lunch for a full day game drive in the reserve in search of the big five as well as other numerous plain animals. You will have a lunch break in the reserve after which continue with your game drive till evening when you will return to your campsite for dinner and overnight. You will have an opportunity to see Lion, Cheetah and Leopard roam the vast grasslands in search for their next meal it may be an unsuspecting impala or even a small one like the warthog. Whatever the players, The spectacle of nature unfolding is always awe-inspiring! Overnight at Aa Mara Camp.
Morning breakfast in the camp, and then check out. Drive to Lake Naivasha where you will have your lunch en route. After lunch en-route, you will go on with the drive to Lake Naivasha. Optional: Boat Ride or hells gate national park where you will see most of the activities which were formed due to volcanic activities like hot cold warm springs. Arrive at the camp in the evening. Overnight at Kongoni Naivasha lodge.
The road to the Green Crater Lake takes you out of Naivasha and along a rough and bumpy road down the edge of Lake Naivasha, passing by huge Greenhouses where roses and other flowers are grown for the export market. You will arrive at the Green Crater Lake at 9.30 am approx and you will begin your morning game walk. The green Crater Lake was formed by volcanic activity. The group will walk in a reserve where it’s possible to get up close to Giraffe and many varieties of antelope. It’s a great opportunity for photos. The guides will answer questions about the animals, birdlife etc and point out the rocks formed due to the volcanic activity. At 12.00 pm you will leave for lunch at ‘carnelley’s camp’ about 20 minutes back down the road toward Naivasha town. In the afternoon you will enjoy some optional activities like cycling around the village or hire a small powerboat for a trip out on to the lake. Overnight at Kongoni Naivasha lodge.
You will wake up for your breakfast in the morning. After breakfast, you will set out to depart for Nairobi arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home. Tour ends in Nairobi in the afternoon. End of tour in Nairobi.
