BeMyGuest Taipei Cooking Class is more than a cooking class; it’s an immersive experience filled with connections to local people and the rich history of old Taipei.
We are located on Dihua Street, also known as Dadaocheng, a historic commercial center in Taipei. All Cooking Classes include a local Dadaocheng street and market adventure.
You will make everything from scratch, and in doing so, you’ll uncover the stories behind Taiwanese cuisine and begin your culinary journey of authentic Taiwan.
Each class is at a maximum of 6, easy to communicate. Alex, the owner and the instructor, is friendly and kind. He likes to share. He speaks English, Chinese, and some Japanese.

What to expect
Alex will share your local stories throughout the alleys of Dadaocheng. Then, in the traditional market, you'll also have the opportunity to taste authentic delicacies and learn about local ingredients.
Sometimes, you might want to chat with the vendor owners. Why not?
We call it the Taiwanese experience.
After the walking tour, we will cook Taiwanese cuisine at our cooking school.
【Cooking Classes】
Languages: The class is mainly conducted in English, but Alex also speaks Chinese and some basic Japanese, so there’s no need to worry too much about the language barrier.
Daily classes except Monday.

Come along with your kids (under 12 years old), it'll be free of charge if they don't cook. And they can share your food.
If your kids enjoy cooking, please reserve their seats. Contact Alex through WhatsApp if you need any help.
Each class requires at least 2 participants. If we don’t reach the minimum, don’t worry—we’ll contact you in advance and offer a reschedule or a full refund at your convenience.
