Day 1 : Giza pyramids, Sphinx & Mummies Museum + Lunch
Our Egyptologist guide will accompany you to an excursion where you will enjoy sightseeing the great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus, followed by a stop at the Sphinx.

Then you will visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) which has a great gallery for the Royal Mummies.
The Museum also Display a Collection of 50.000 artifacts, presenting Egyptian Civilization from prehistoric Times to the present day.
Day 2 : Alexandria Day Tour + Lunch
(3-hours Driving from Cairo) Alexandria is the second biggest city in Egypt with 6 million population and biggest seaport, it was founded by Alexander the Great in 334 B.C. and it remained the capital of Egypt during the Greco-Roman rule till the Arab conquest in 642 A.D.. etc.
You will Visit catacomb of Alexandria, Pompy's pillar , Serapeum, Citadel of Qaitbay and Alexandria Library.

Start your tour with exploring the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, dating back to the early of the 2nd century A.D., then you will visit tomb of Tigran,
Then Pompey’s pillar dating back to the end of 3rd century and the remains of the Serapeum temple, the ancient temple of god Serapis. In the same area scattered monuments dating back to different periods.
The ancient lighthouse (Pharos) was one of the ancient seven wonders before it was completely destroyed. Now in its location stands the fort of Qaitbay dating back to 15th century and represents an excellent example of military fortification during the Mamluk era and you will enjoy a panoramic view from the top of the fort.
We will end our tour by visiting the Modern Alexandria library; the Old library was very famous all over the world for its huge books capacity of different sciences and literature. It was damaged several times during the Greco Roman period. The special shape of the modern library of Alexandria is considered a special architectural germ. New Library was inaugurated in 2002 and it is a must see in Alexandria that you will visit and a have a guided tour inside it.
