What to expect
Renting SUP in Stockholm is probably the nicest summer activity we have in our beautiful capital. With Stockholm’s many islands, you can get through tranquil canals or more challenging waters, which makes Stand Up Paddling an activity that suits both beginners and professionals.Our inflatable or hard Stand Up Paddle boards are easy to get around on all around Stockholm’s beautiful waters.
HOW DO YOU PADDLE A SUP?
To feel stability on the board, it is recommended to start the trip on your knees and paddle, as the center of gravity goes further down. When you are ready to challenge yourself, stand up with your feet about shoulder-width apart. By using the strength of the upper body, you move forward efficiently with powerful and varied strokes on both sides of the board. Life jackets are a requirement for our inflatable boards and optional on the hard boards. Because the SUP can float away with the wind, it is required that you are strapped around the ankle to a leash. Our hosts will inform you about all this and a little more on site
