What to expect
Step 1: Preparation and Safety Briefing
Your guide will help you suit up and explain how to dress warmly under the dry suit. You’ll receive a thorough safety briefing, including basic paddling techniques and important tips for kayaking at night and in winter conditions. No previous kayaking experience is required—your guide will make sure everyone feels confident and ready.
Step 2: Launching into the Water
Once everyone is prepared, you’ll carefully launch your kayak from the dock and glide out onto the calm evening waters of central Stockholm.
Step 3: Exploring Stockholm’s Waterways by Night
Your guide will lead the group along a scenic route, pointing out famous landmarks such as the the Old Town (Gamla Stan), and the City Hall—all beautifully reflected on the water’s surface.
Step 4: Stories, History, and Local Insights
Throughout the tour, your guide will share fascinating stories about Stockholm’s history, culture, and unique relationship with the water.
Step 5: Return and Warm Up
After about two hours on the water, you’ll return to the starting point.
