This 2 Days Lake Nakuru National Park Safari takes you to lake Nakuru National Park, home to the stunning flocks of millions of lesser flamingos and over 400 other species of birds, which literally turn the lake shores into a magnificent pink stretch. Lake Nakuru is also home to the black and white rhino sanctuary, gazelles, Dik Diks, leopards, buffalo, lions and an array of other wildlife. Lake Nakuru is an alkaline soda lake lying 160 km from Nairobi. For nature lovers, this park is covered in grassland and surrounded by euphorbia and acacia forests creating a beautiful natural background that contrasts well with the pink shores.     Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

    Early morning pick up from your Nairobi hotel or Airport and drive to Lake Nakuru National park and drive down the escarpment via the floor of the Great Rift Valley,you will have a chance to stop at the great rift valley view point, at this point you will be able to have a comprehensive information on how the formation of the Rift Valley occurred. Its also at this point where you will be able to refresh and stretch your feet, there after proceed to Lake Nakuru. Have a game drive en route, arriving in time for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive a long side the shores of the lake where you will have an opportunity of seeing millions of migratory birds. In the acacia woodland, you will search for the plain game including the White Rhino. We make our way back to the Lake Nakuru Lodge for dinner and overnight.
