  Start your day early with a morning game drive in Nairobi National Park, ideally arriving around 6:00–7:00 AM when animals are most active. Spend about 3–4 hours exploring the park’s savannah landscapes where you may see lions, rhinos, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, and many bird species with the Nairobi skyline in the background. You can stop at viewpoints and picnic sites for photos before leaving around late morning or noon.

  In the afternoon or early evening, visit the Museum of Illusions in the Westlands/Parklands area. Plan for 1–2 hours exploring interactive rooms, holograms, puzzles, and optical illusions that challenge how your brain perceives space and perspective. It’s a fun indoor activity where you can take creative photos and try mind-bending exhibits like tilted rooms and infinity spaces.

  Kazuri Beads Factory

  Later in the day, head to Kazuri Beads near Karen for a relaxed cultural stop. Spend about 45–60 minutes watching artisans hand-make and hand-paint ceramic beads and pottery. The workshop tour shows the full production process, and you can browse the shop for handmade necklaces, bracelets, and pottery crafted by local women. It’s a great place to buy authentic Kenyan souvenirs.
