    Plaza San Martin

    The second most important square in the colonial area of Lima, buitl in the early 1900 and named after the Liberator Jose de San Martin (George Washington for peruvians), with delightfull buildings around it of beaux-arts architecture. Also the first 5-star hotel "Bolivar" (named after the second liberator), which was built by the peruvian arquitect Rafael Marquina who studied in the Cornell University.

    Casa de La Cultura Criolla, Rosa Mercedes Ayarza

    The first colonial house included in this tour, the place dates from the early years of the colonial period, it still preserves the original layout of the courtyard-houses (that is how the colonial houses are known), it was inhabited by a very popular composer "Rosa Mercedes Ayarza" who was the first female orchestra director in Perú.

    Jiron de La Union

    Union street was "the street" in the colonial times, for many years it was the most important street in the city, characterized as the most "aristocratic" and where the most famous inhabitants met. Nice stores, great restaurants, movie theaters, cafe-shops and offices made the street very fascinating to walk by.

    Casa de Aliaga

    Esta Casa data de la época colonial, construida en el siglo XVI a pocos años después de la conquista española. Don Jerónimo de Aliaga y Ramírez, fue un hombre de confianza de Francisco Pizarro y llegó a ocupar el cargo de Tesorero. Esta casona ha sido habitada por 17 generaciones y actualmente pertenece a la misma familia Aliaga, un caso único en América, el edificio ha tenido cambios y reconstrucciones a lo largo de los años.

    Centro Historico de Lima

    Luego de recogerlos nos iremos desde Miraflores (o el punto que nos indiquen) hacia el Centro Histórico de Lima, veremos las avenidas principales, Plaza San Martin, el Palacio de Justicia, monumentos, Plaza Mayor, Catedral de Lima (exterior), Palacio de Gobierno, Municipalidad de Lima y la Casa Aliaga.
