Eight Days Safari. Nakuru is an Ornithological Paradise with Pink Flamingos, Rhinoceros and the Endangered Rothschild Giraffe. Maasai Mara is Famous for sheltering all the Big Five and its annual wild migration of animals from Serengeti between July and October. Serengeti means Plains without an End, the native home of Wildebeests whose Calving Season is between February and March. Ngorongoro is the biggest Caldera in Africa and you enjoy varieties of animals such as Black Rhinoceros and Lions.

    NAIROBI / LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK.

    Lake Nakuru National Park

    You are welcomed by Pongezi Africa Safaris representative at the Airport. You are given a short brief of your safaris. Later you drive to the west side of Kenya to Lake Nakuru. Have a stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point along the road that was built by Italians Prisoners during the second World War. Also find the Smallest Church in the World. Pass through the agricultural area of Maize and Wheat. Find the Volcanic Mount Longonot along the way. Check in and have lunch at Lake Nakuru lodge. After enjoying the afternoon tea, leave for exciting game drive in search of, black and white Rhinoceros, endangered Rothschild Giraffe, Gazelles and lions. Approach the Lake for the beautiful sunset with the pinkish Flamingos. Be back to the lodge at 1830hrs.

    Have an early game drive when the animals such as Lions and Leopards are active. Have a beautiful Sunrise with the Pink Flamingos. Return for breakfast and leave for Maasai Mara with lunch on the way. On arrival start your first safari in search of pride of Lions, African Elephants, Wildebeests and many more. Check in to Mara Sekenani before 1800hrs.

    Have an early breakfast and leave for Isebania Border Point. Go through the Immigration office and later change the vehicle and the Guide. Proceed to Serengeti National Park. Have a stop for lunch. Arrive for check in at Tanzania Bush Camp. where you have dinner and overnight.

    Have a full day game drive in the park. Serengeti covers an area of 14760 km2. The name is derived from Maasai community language "Maa" meaning "plains without an end". It has acacia and savanna woodlands: scrub forest, vast open plains and swamps. Popular for being native home of the wildebeest the migrants to Maasai Mara in Kenya. Also it shelters; elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, wild dogs, hyenas and same 500 bird life. Return to the Lodge at 1800hrs.

    After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro conservation area for a full day game drive. It's the biggest Crater in Africa. You will look for Black Rhinoceros, African Elephants, Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards, Gazelles etc. In the evening drive to Marera Valley lodge for dinner and overnight.

    After breakfast drive to Tarangire with picnic lunch. Look for African Elephants which sharpen their Tusks with the Famous Baobab Trees, also look for Common Zebras, Gazelles and Lions. Enjoy Lunch under the Baobab Tree and later depart to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Arusha.
