Discover stunning synagogues and learn about the fascinating Jewish History in Romania on a private tour -just for you and your party. I will provide plenty of insights regarding local Jewish history, the Holocaust in Romania and Jewish life during communism.

At the end of the tour, we will have a sightseeing by car around the streets of what used to be the former Jewish area in Bucharest.

I will pick you up from your hotel and drop you off back at the end of the tour.

    Great Synagogue

    I will explain about local Jewish History, including WWII history and the Holocaust. The Great Synagogue shelters the Holocaust Museum, documenting about pogroms, deportations and sufferings inflicted on the Jews in Romania during wartime.

    The "Choral" Temple

    Visit the main synagogue in Romania, considered one of the most beautiful in the world. It is the only synagogue in Romania holding daily services. The passionate guide of the synagogue will be glad to discuss about the present-day life of the Jewish community in Bucharest.

    Museum of History of the Jewish Community

    The museum various artifacts and documents evoke the daily life and history of the Jews in Romania.

    One of the few Yiddish-language theaters left in Europe. We see it from exterior and I will explain about the tradition of the Yiddish Theater in Romania. It is possible to visit it inside with prior arrangements.
