This is a safari of a lifetime that combines Mountain gorillas, Chimpanzees Tracking with wildlife game drives as well as boat safari. You have chances of seeing all the Big 5 animals. This safari has also two special extra programs of tree climbing lions and an option of doing Lion Experiential Tracking which brings you closer to the nocturnals or predators.

    Day 1

    Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Visit to the Top of Murchison Falls

    Murchison Falls National Park

    After an early breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, you will be transferred to Murchison Falls National Park via Masindi town. You will have lunch in Masindi Town after which you will enter the Murchison falls through the Kichumbanyobo gate. The Park is well known for the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the world’s longest river detonates fervently through a tapered crevice in the Rift Valley escarpment to thrust into a foaming pool 43m below. Here you will see the magnificent top of the falls and where it is believed to be raining all day throughout the year and also forming the Rainbow. Retire to your assigned place of accommodation for dinner and overnight stay

    Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat Safari on Victoria Nile

    Murchison Falls National Park

    Early in the morning after breakfast, you will set out for the game drive on the Northern sector of the Park. Expect to encounter animals like Giraffes, Lions, Elephants, baboons, and a number of different antelopes. Return to the lodge for lunch and in the afternoon set out for the launch cruise on the Albert Nile to the Bottom of the falls. Expect to see animals like Hippos, crocodiles, Waterbucks, and a wide variety of bird species. You will also reach the “Devils Cauldron” where you will be able to see clearly the majestic Murchison Falls. Return for dinner and overnight stay

    Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park & Bigodi wetland visit

    After breakfast, you will travel to Kibale Forest national park. The journey will take almost 7-8 hours. It will take you through the verdant country side of the Albertine Escarpment. Also you will pass by Hoima homesteads for a clear view of the true African culture. Lunch will be held en route in Hoima town. Proceed with the journey to Fort portal and later reach Kibale in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay

    Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After breakfast, you will set out for the morning briefing of the Chimpanzee tracking activity at Kanyachu, the Park Headquarters, and later after this, you will enter the forest to search for the man’s closest friend - the chimps. All trackers must be above 18 years of age. The experience you will get when you are with these chimps, will enable you figure out the similarities between the Chimps and Man. Besides the chimps, you will also be able to see other primate species such as the grey cheeked mangabeys, baboons and vervet monkeys. Return back to the Lodge for Lunch and in the afternoon we will leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park. En-route visit the crater regions for scenic viewing. Dinner and overnight stay

    Experiential lions and leopard tracking Game drive and Boat Safari on Kazinga Channel

    Early morning after breakfast, you will set out for the game drive along the Kasenyi track for game viewing including the Buffalo, Elephant, Warthog and Lion. After this, return to the lodge for lunch and later depart for a 2-hour launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Here you will encounter a close look at the Hippos, crocodiles and other bird species. Dinner and overnight stay

    Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via Ishasha Sector for Tree Climbing Lions

    After breakfast, you will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector, an area commonly known for the rare tree-climbing lions. After the game drive in Ishasha, have lunch and later proceed with your journey to Bwindi reaching it in the evening. Dinner and overnight stay

    Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Batwa cultural visit

    Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

    After an early morning breakfast, gather at the Park headquarters, for a briefing from the Ranger Guide of Uganda Wildlife Authority. You will be briefed about the Gorilla tracking protocol and once this is done, you will set out with your packed lunch and penetrate the Jungle forest to search for the rare Mountain Gorillas. The time taken to track gorillas is unpredictable and it can take 2- 10 hours.

    Transfer back to Kampala via the Equator stop point

    After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Kampala with lunch en-route at Igongo Cultural Centre and restaurant. Transfer to Kampala via the Equator line point in the late afternoon. Drop off will be at your Hotel or at the airport for the late night flight.
