- Operating days may be adjusted flexibly due to special holidays, major events, or other special circumstances.
- From October to March each year, the Maokong Gondola operates on the first and third Mondays, and on Mondays during consecutive holidays. All other Mondays are designated for routine maintenance and the gondola will be suspended.

If you want to ride again after exiting the station, you need to purchase an additional ticket (You can use Easy Card, All-in-One Card, Aijin Card or cash coins on site)

- By bus: Take bus 236, 237, 282, 294, 295, 611, 676, 679, 793, 933, 1501, 1503 (not available during holidays), and 1558 to reach Taipei Zoo station. You can take these same buses as well as S12, Brown 3, Brown 6, Brown 11, Brown 15, Brown 18, Brown 21, Green 1, Maokong Tour Bus (Left Line, Taipei Zoo), or Roosevelt Rd. Main Line to reach Maokong Gondola Taipei Zoo Station
- By metro: To reach Maokong Gondola Taipei Zoo Station, take the Wenshan-Neihu Line of the Taipei Metro to Taipei Zoo Station then walk to Maokong Gondola Taipei Zoo Station which is approximately 350m away
