  We pickup you from your hotel and drive around 1 hour to This rather modest 19th-century Greek Orthodox church houses a treasure of early Christianity. Imagine the excitement in 1884 when Christian builders came across the remnants of a Byzantine church on their construction site. Among the rubble, having survived wilful destruction, fire and neglect, the flooring they discovered wasn’t just another mosaic but one with extraordinary significance: to this day, it represents the oldest map of Palestine in existence and provides many historical insights into the region.

  St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church

  Visit the historic Catholic Church of Saint John the Baptist, with its beautiful Bell Tower for a breath-taking view of Madaba. Visit its underground museum memorial of Saint John the Baptist. Free time to explore a mosaic workshop, if interested.

  Mount Nebo

  second point the La Storia Tourism Complex is located on Mount Nebo. Visitors will spend 2 hours and can take a tour of the museum which includes information on the religious history of Mount Nebo and the surrounding area. The museum is currently undergoing a project which aims to create the largest mosaic in the world at 30 meters long with 3.5 million pieces. The mosaic will depict the entire route of the King’s Highway and visitors can take part in the project by placing a piece into the mosaic. The museum also offers a variety of workshops for visitors of all ages.

  Bethany Jordan River Baptism Site of Jesus

   The Baptism Site of Jesus Christ; is located on the Jordan side of the Jordan River. It was known as Bethany beyond the Jordan in the Biblical time, & is considered one of the three holiest sites of Christianity; it is where Jesus Christ has been baptized by John. Therefore, marking a highly important historical and religious event. Get the chance to pray in this significant pilgrimage site where many prophets have passed The Baptism Site, known as ‘Maghtas’ in Arabic is one of the most important recent discoveries in biblical archaeology. Excavations only began there in 1996, however, have already unveiled more than 20 churches, caves, & baptismal pools dating from the Roman and Byzantine periods. Grasp a unique experience at this historical site, preserved exactly how it was over 2000 years ago, filled with much flora and fauna After indulging & experiencing these holy sights & reveling in the panoramic views, reconvene with your driver for the return, ending with a hotel
