What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The Art Lab Athens Aigaleo 8, Gazi, Athens 11855, Greece The workshop takes place inside The Art Lab Athens, in the Gazi neighborhood. Please come inside the studio — your host will welcome you and guide you to the workshop area. Closest metro station: Kerameikos, about a 5-minute walk.
What to expect
First, they will choose their candle jar and explore different fragrance oils to create a scent that matches their style. Then, with step-by-step guidance, they will learn how to prepare the wick, work with soy wax, mix color and fragrance, and safely pour their candle.
They will also personalize the final look of their candle with decorative details such as dried flowers, petals, botanicals, or seasonal elements, depending on the available materials.
While the candle sets, travelers can enjoy the relaxed studio atmosphere, take photos, and ask for local tips about Athens, street art, food spots, and creative things to do nearby.
At the end of the workshop, each participant takes home their own handmade candle as a unique souvenir from Athens.
