Welcome to Roof of the World! In this activity you will climb the Via Ferrata Roof of the World.
It is considered the highest via Ferrata in Portugal (not the hardest).
This event includes all Via Ferrata and security equipment and expert monitors in the activity who will help throughout the event.
Initially we will give a briefing where we will explain all the safety and event rules.

Climbing or via ferrata experience is not mandatory.
Not recommended for people with vertigo or poor mobility. Minimum age to practice: 14 years

At the end of the climb you will find a warehouse on the straight, there you should see the sign with the indication via Ferrata, this will be the meeting point.

What to expect

Ascent to the highest Via Ferrata in Portugal (accessible to anyone without vertigo), perhaps the most beautiful Via Ferrata to visit in Portugal. Natural). The landscapes are breathtaking and we can see all of Barroso from up there including the entire Alto Rabagão dam and Larouco.
