What to expect
As we ascend, you'll hike through rugged Cretan landscapes, rocky slopes, and fragrant mountain herbs, taking in breathtaking panoramic views of the island, the Aegean Sea, and beyond. Along the way, your guide will point out unique flora, fauna, and geological features, while sharing fascinating tales of Zeus and the sacred significance of the mountain to the ancient Minoans.
Reaching the summit of Psiloritis (Timios Stavros, 2,456 meters), you'll have time to rest, take photos, and truly feel on top of Crete. Afterward, we’ll begin our descent and return to our starting point, feeling fulfilled by nature, mythology, and a sense of accomplishment.
