We begin with the historical monuments within the city, Independence monument, Sir Edward Muteesa Monument, War memorial monument, The Stride monument, The sculpture of Sir Apollo Kagwa, and the Statue of leadership.
We continue our city tour with the Nakasero market, Hindu Temple Nakasero, Fabric Shops, and the Old Taxi Park.
Stop for a short lunch break, local food (at your own expense), refreshments and better views of the famous old taxi park.
After lunch, we proceed to the Gaddafi Mosque. A must-see of the breathtaking seven hills of Kampala alongside the historical insight of how the famous Kampala gets its name. The Mosque also offers an opportunity to discover more about religion and culture in Kampala. Continue to the African village Craft market.
We end the tour with the taste of a uniquely brewed Uganda Coffee at 1000 cups of coffee at the heart of Kampala (highly recommended).
