Auschwitz-Birkenau is a terrible but also terribly educational place. Take DutchPoint Kraków with a Dutch Guide to the camp where more DAN 1.2 million EN people were killed, including about 60,000 Dutch and 24,000 Belgians. During this excursion (6 hours excl. travel time) with a Dutch Guide we walk through Museum Auschwitz I and also see DE Nederlandse barak - Flemish guest EN see the Belgian - and walk through a gas chamber. After a break we go to the huge Birkenau. There we visit barracks - which give a good impression of DE living conditions EN - and DE remnants of gas chambers II and III. We end DE excursion at the monument of Monowitz (Auschwitz III). It is possible to visit the bookstores EN and there are 5 sanitary stops.

We meet at the 'meeting point' at DutchPoint Kraków on DE Karmelicka 3/3 in Krakow. You will receive DE final departure time (from 05:40 h) of the excursion by e-mail at least two days in advance. After your Reservation we will ask you for your email address.
Our excursion begins at Auschwitz I and takes you through the former camp, which is now a museum. Through photos and the original barracks, we will tell you the story from the first deportations to the liberation on January 27, 1945. 80 minutes - transfer from Krakow to Oświęcim 15 minutes - restroom break / entry 150 minutes - visit to Auschwitz I
After a short break, we’ll take the bus to the Judenrampe, the spot between Auschwitz I and Birkenau where trains arrived, and people were selected. From there, we walk the same route as those who were taken to Birkenau. At Birkenau, we’ll visit the wooden barracks that give a clear view of the living conditions during the war years. We’ll walk past the train station toward the remains of gas chambers II and III. Afterward, we’ll visit the Dutch monument. Then, we’ll return to the gate and make a brief stop at the bookstore. 30 minutes - transfer from Auschwitz I to Birkenau and break 90 minutes - visit to Auschwitz II-Birkenau 30 minutes - visit to the Judenrampe
After a short break, we will take the bus to Monowitz (Auschwitz III) and the Buna works. Upon arrival, we’ll tell you all about the immense factory complex established by the Nazis and the Monowitz camp they founded. Although the barracks are no longer visible, you will still see the factories and some remnants of bunkers that remain standing. Monowitz was the most grueling camp to work in, located about 10 kilometers from Auschwitz I. We will conclude the excursion at the impressive Monowitz monument. 45 minutes - transfer and visit to Auschwitz III-Monowitz 90 minutes - transfer from Monowitz to Krakow
