    Travel from Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park

    You will be picked from the accommodation by the guide at dawn after breakfast. Who will brief and embark you on the 6 hours’ journey to Queen Elizabeth. Along the way, you will have few stopovers at the Equator where you will take adequate photographs and head to Mbarara town for lunch, also view various attractions and city walk in Mbarara.

    Queen Elizabeth National Park

    After lunch, proceed to the Park as you drive through the spectacular landscape characterized with open grasslands, Ankole long horned cattle, tea plantations, the Rift Valley Escarpment and various woodlands. Reach the park in late afternoon and have a game drive as you move to your lodge. Have dinner and spend an overnight at the camp fire.

    Morning Game drive and afternoon Boat Cruise

    Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Have an early morning game drive on different trails in the park including the Kasenyi trail to see various animals like water bucks, Uganda Kobs, elephants, buffaloes, lions, warthogs as well as various birds. After the drive of about 4hours, head back to the lodge for breakfast, have simple nature walks around the lodge , some entertaining board games and also lunch at your lodge.

    Queen Elizabeth National Park

    Following lunch, you will have a boat cruise along Kazinga channel that connects Lake George to Lake Edward. While on the boat, you will see a number of animals on the lake shore like Hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, zebras, kobs that come to drink water and also birds like malachite kingfishers, pink backed pelicans on the banks and in trees. After, head back to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the campfire.

    Have morning breakfast, check out of the lodge and then have a primate walk to chimpanzee trekking at kyambura gorge which takes about 4 hours before you head in for lunch. Some of the attractions to see along the way back to town may include Mpambire drum centre where you will learn how drums are made by the locals and also be in position to buy some souvenirs at different local craft shops to support the local community then proceed to Kampala where you will be dropped off at your hotel in the evening or at the airport if your flight is due.
