Embark on an action-packed adventure through the mangrove jungle and out to open sea and the picturesque Nizuc coral reef. Take full control of your 2-seater speedboat as you accelerate through the scenic Nichupte Lagoon.

Just off the southern coast of the hotel island, stop your vessel and plunge into the clear waters of the Caribbean. Using a snorkel, a mask and a pair of fins, explore the seascapes of the second largest coral formation in the world, the Great Mayan Reef. Playful tropical fish is likely to surround you as you drift on the surface, admiring the marine flora & fauna.

A great additional bonus is the MUSA Underwater Museum, some of whose artifacts are located in the Nizuc area. Venture to the locations following you guide's instruction to catch a glimpse of one of the most unique art exhibitions.

Feel free to swap seats before you cruise to back to the pier, admiring the sights that made Cancun so famous.

What to expect

The speedboat adventure begins with the check-in at the marina followed by a safety brief. The professional guides will show you how easy it is to navigate your tour vessel.

Next, head south following the group and directly to the picturesque mangove channels. Leave the freshwater Nichupte lagoon behind as you cruise out at open sea.

It' time to "park" the boat, put on your snorkeling mask and fins, and splash into the water, just above the Nizuc coral reef. Discover the fascinating seascapes featuring colorful corals and tropical fish, as you drift across the surface. You will even get a chance to get a glimpse of the famous Underwater Museum, some of whose artifacts are scattered around the sea bottom.

Back in your boat, return to the marina passing again through the mangrove jungle.
