    Amazing Moray Agricultural Site and Maras Salt Mines

    Today you will experience a half day guided excursion throughout the Sacred Valley. First, you will visit the huge circular agricultural terraces at Moray, built by the Incas in natural sinkholes. They sit on a limestone plateau overlooking the Urubamba Valley. Then you will visit to the salt mines of Maras. At this amazing site, you can see the pansfed by saline spring water that were built on steep terraces along one side of a narrow valley.

    Machu Picchu Citadel - Cusco

    Good morning Machu Picchu! We take a short train ride to the town of Aguas Calientes, and then a 20-minute bus ride to the gates of Machu Picchu. You will have a 2-hour guided tour of the sanctuary where you guide will point out all major sites. This site was never taken by the Spanish and gives us our best insight into construction techniques and cultural/ceremonial importance. You will have time in the afternoon to explore the site on your own. In the afternoon you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo Station and private transport to Cusco.
