City Tour Lima

Today, we invite you to explore the City of Kings, an UNESCO heritage of humanity. We will visit the Main Square (Plaza Mayor) with its Chatedral, the Archbishop’s Palace, the Government Palace, and Municipality. Our tour goes inside the Chatedral to see the Tomb of the Spanish conqueror of Peru. Our next stop will be the St. Dominic convent, place of rest for the remains of the famous Peruvian saints. Leave the historical center to explore the modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores. A brief stop at the Love Park. thanks to the sculpture of a kissing couple made by Victor Delfin and the Gaudi-style benches surrounding the park. This is the perfect place to enjoy the panoramic view of the Lima Bay and Barranco and Chorrillos districts.

Day 3
Flight from Lima to Cusco and day off in the Sacred Valley

At given time we will take you to Lima airport from where you will travel further to the Andes to Cusco. (airfare is not included. We suggest to take a morning flight). Upon arrival, we will take you to your hotel in the sacred valley of the Incas. The rest of the day is free for acclimatization. Enjoy the beauty and the magic that surrounds this special place.

Day 4
Train Ride & Machu Picchu Excursion

Good morning Machu Picchu! We take a short train ride to the town of Aguas Calientes, and then a 20-minute bus ride to the gates of Machu Picchu. You will have a 2-hour guided tour of the sanctuary where you guide will point out all major sites. This site was never taken by the Spanish and gives us our best insight into construction techniques and cultural/ceremonial importance. You will have time in the afternoon to explore the site on your own. In the afternoon you will board the return train to Ollantaytambo Station. There we will be waiting for you and take you back to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.

Day 5
The Sacred Valley of the Incas and Visit of an Andean Community

Sacred Valley
Today you will experience a guided excursion throughout the Sacred Valley of the Incas and visit an Andean Community! First you will visit Salineras with its ancient salt mines and the town of Maras, where you can see the huge circular agricultural terraces of Moray. Then we will drive to Chincheros and visit the village community of Cuper Bajo. We will start with a short hike with llamas (30 to 40 minutes) to the lagoon Piuray. On the way you will pass the ancient Inca ruins, you will explore the lifestyle of the Andean Community and you can enjoy the tranquility and beauty of this special place. In the afternoon, you will arrive in Cusco!

Rest Day in the Andean city of Cusco

To rest from your excursion to Machu Picchu is at your free disposal. Explore the city on your own, stroll through the Plaza de Armas or relax in your hotel.

Day 7
From Cusco to Lake Titicaca in a tourist bus

Today you will travel to Puno and cross the Peruvian Andes. On your way you will see impressive landscapes, snow-capped mountains, llamas and small Andean villages. You will stop at different archaeological centers, churches and temples and will have lunch in the direction of Puno, where you can relax a bit and enjoy Peruvian delicacies with a beautiful view. After your arrival in Puno in the late afternoon, we will take you to your hotel and the evening is free for you to spend as you wish.

Day 8
Lake Titicaca: The Islands of Uros and Taquile

In the morning we will take you to the port of Puno and by speedboat first visit the Uros Islands, an ancient culture that has lived for hundreds of years on floating islands woven from toragrass. The inhabitants will tell you about the use of the toragrass and explain their way of life. Afterwards, we will continue to Taquile Island, where we will take a short hike and some islanders will introduce us to their handicrafts and weaving. After lunch we will go for a hike and visit the romantic alleys, small houses and green landscape of the island. In the afternoon we will go back to Puno.

Flight to Lima

At given time we will bring you to Juliaca Airport in order to catch your flight to Lima (The flight is not included in the price.) Upon arrival, we will bring you to your hotel and the remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and take a walk along the coast.
