Abydos Temple Leaving early from Luxor to start our full day trip, you will admire quaint villages on the way to Abydos which is a city in Sohag governorate, the ancient Egyptian believed of god (Lord of the underworld) to be buried there. This temple was built by King Seti I, and completed by King Ramsess II, known as temple of Seti I. The paintings of the Gods and Pharaohs on the walls of the Osiris Temple at Abydos are among the most beautifully preserved in Egypt.
Lunch Reaching Qena Governorate after visiting Abydos temple, we will have lunch in a local restaurant there.
Dandara Temple Visiting Dandara temple, which is dedicated to goddess Hathor, goddess of love and joy, one of the most preserved temples in Egypt. the main attractions of the temple is the mystical Dandara Zodiac signs which is a map to the stars on a plane projection showing 12 constellation of the found on the ceiling of the Osiris chapel, they were used in creating and organizing the ancient Egyptian calendar, then back to Luxor again.
