    It is interesting that in the village of Mirovica near Bar stands one of the oldest olive trees in the world, which, even in its third millennium, continues to bear fruit tirelessly. The Old Olive Tree is a living witness to the rise and fall of different civilizations in this area and still stands strong and proud despite the inevitable passage of time. The Old Olive Tree Nature Park preserves a story that is more than 2,500 years old. Numerous legends and traditions are connected to this tree, all symbolically speaking of peace, happiness, and success. A custom that is still respected today in this nature park is that every visitor should walk around the tree three times one circle for health, the second for happiness, and the third for love.

    Old Fortress, Stari Bar

    While exploring Old Bar, we will step into the “Montenegrin Pompeii,” the largest archaeological site in the area and an open-air museum with over 250 structures. With a guide, you will have the opportunity to visit the most important landmarks of this fortress and discover its rich and layered history. the National Olive House offers a modern addition to the region. This multifunctional facility is dedicated to olive processing and olive oil production, along with packaging and labeling. It also features a souvenir shop with authentic local gourmet products.
