(9 reviews)
Medellín, Colombia

7 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English and 2 more

It is the only Medellín tour that takes you from the historic center to Comuna 13 and to a local market on the same day, without wasting half a day in taxis. The electric bike is like a motorcycle, 100% assisted: you don't pedal, and Medellín is a valley, so the difference is huge. Seven hours, 100% private tour with a local guide just for you, who can adjust the route to what interests you. We guide in Spanish, English, and French every day of the week, which is uncommon in this city. Includes complete Paisa lunch, helmet, water, Colombian coffee, and waterproof poncho. We leave our own office in Laureles, ten minutes walk from Estadio metro.

What to expect

The most complete tour of Medellín by electric bike: 7 hours, 100% private and with a local guide just for you.

We leave our office on Boulevard de la 70, in Laureles, and tour the Atanasio Girardot Stadium, the tree-lined streets of Laureles, and the Belén neighborhood. We went up Cerro Nutibara and Pueblito Paisa to see the city from above, and went down to Parques del Río and Parque de los Pies Descalzos.

In the historic center we tour La Alpujarra, the old Railway Station, the Park of Lights, Berrío Park, El Hueco, Botero Square with its 23 sculptures, the Palace of Culture, and Bolívar Park.

The part that doesn't do any other bike tour: we go up to Comuna 13 to see the graffiti and the escalators, and we pass through a local market to see how the city is supplied.

Include a complete Paisa lunch in a city restaurant.

Electric motorcycle-type bicycle, 100% assisted: you don't have to pedal.
Private tour: no strangers, at your pace, and we can adjust the route.
Local guides in Spanish, English, and French, every day of the week.
Helmet, water, Colombian coffee, and waterproof poncho included.

Seven hours sounds like a lot, but Medellín is in a valley: what is three hours uphill on foot is forty minutes on an electric bike. That's why the entire city fits in one day.
