    The triumphal arch known today as Kamara probably built between 298 A.D and 305 A.D to commemorate Galerius' victorious campaign against the Persians. The structure consisted of eight piers arranged jn two parallel rows but today only three are preserved which two carry reliefs depicting scenes from the Romans' victorious campaigns against the Persians.

This circular, domed building can only be compared to the Pantheon in Rome. not long after it was built and during the early years of the Byzantine Empire, the Rotunda was turned into a Christian church.
