Day 1
Day 1: thrilling Amazonian jungle adventure begins

Day 1: Welcome to the Amazon + Monkey Island + Canopy + Night Safari: Tour begins upon arrival in Puerto Maldonado, the gateway to the Peruvian Amazon. Our team will pick you up at the airport, bus terminal, or hotel for a brief registration at our office. Depending on arrival time, the excursion starts at 9:10 a.m. Next, we head to the dock to begin a 30-minute boat ride along the Madre de Dios River. During this journey, you will enjoy stunning jungle landscapes, lush vegetation, and the first sounds of the rainforest, perfect for wildlife observation. Upon arrival at the lodge, you are welcomed with a refreshing natural juice made from Amazonian fruits while your guide explains the experience. Afterward, settle into your room and relax in the jungle tranquility. Your first excursion visits the famous Monkey Island, just minutes away. Here you will observe different monkey species in their natural habitat, possible encounters exotic birds. Ideal for nature and birdwatching lovers!

Back at the lodge, enjoy a typical Amazonian lunch with local ingredients. In the afternoon, take a guided jungle walk to discover giant trees, medicinal plants, and fascinating insects. The experience continues on the canopy hanging bridges for a privileged view of the forest canopy, where you can spot toucans, macaws, and monkeys. For extra adrenaline, you can add the optional canopy zipline. At nightfall, embark on an exciting night boat safari along the Madre de Dios River using flashlights to spot caimans, owls, and nocturnal wildlife. Return to the lodge for a comforting dinner surrounded by magical jungle sounds. Day 2: Sandoval Lake Sunrise Y Deep Jungle Experience Experience one of the most incredible moments of the Amazon journey. Very early in the morning, when the jungle awakens and wildlife is active, we begin our adventure toward stunning Sandoval Lake within the Tambopata National Reserve. We navigate the river at sunrise, surrounded by mist and jungle sounds, until reaching the trail. From there, we walk 3 km along a path surrounded by lush vegetation, with every step offering opportunities to encounter monkeys, birds, and insects. Upon reaching the lake, you board a row canoe to explore one of Peru's most spectacular ecosystems. This magical place offers great chances to observe giant otters in their natural habitat, black caimans, turtles, herons, monkeys, and colorful macaws flying overhead. After this unique experience, we return to the lodge to enjoy a well-deserved traditional Amazonian lunch.

Tambopata National Reserve
In the afternoon, we continue with a deeper guided walk into the tropical rainforest. Accompanied by an expert guide, you discover giant trees over 600 years old, medicinal plants, and hidden secrets. You may observe monkeys, parrots, reptiles, frogs, and insects in one of the planet's most biodiverse places. As night falls, the Amazon transforms. With flashlights in hand, we enter the darkness for a night walk full of mystery to discover creatures that only appear at night, such as sloths, porcupines, frogs, insects, opossums, nocturnal monkeys, and owls. Return to the lodge for dinner and rest, while jungle sounds accompany an unforgettable night. Day 3: Sunrise at the Parrot Clay Lick Y River Experience Your final day begins very early with a spectacular Amazon experience. At sunrise, we navigate upstream along the Madre de Dios River for about 1 hour, surrounded by golden light and the awakening sounds of the rainforest. Our destination is the famous La Cachuela parrot and parakeet clay lick. Here you will witness a true natural spectacle as dozens of birds gather on the river cliffs to feed on mineral-rich clay, creating an impressive display of colors and sounds. On favorable days, up to 7 different species can be observed. We use telescopes to capture every detail. On the return boat journey to the lodge, it is common to spot sloths, monkeys, and other wildlife. Back at the lodge, enjoy your final breakfast before we return to Puerto Maldonado, arriving before noon for your transfer.
