Day 1

Your Amazon adventure begins upon arrival in Iquitos, where our guide welcomes you for an exciting journey through history, culture, and nature. Stroll through the Plaza de Armas and Tarapacá Malecón, admiring stunning rubber-era architecture before heading to Bellavista Port. From here, we set sail on the Nanay, Itaya, and Amazon Rivers, witnessing their majestic confluence while spotting pink and gray dolphins. A visit to the Chullachaki Ecomuseum unveils Amazonian traditions, medicinal plants, and exotic drinks like the legendary "Levanta Pájaro Muerto." Navigating deeper into the jungle, we explore Fundó Don Pedrito, home to paiches, caimans, and vibrant aquatic life, before continuing to San Juan de Huashalado. A peaceful Yanayacu River boat ride takes us to our Eco Lodge, where after lunch, we paddle through the jungle at sunset, soaking in its mesmerizing beauty. Enjoy a delicious dinner surrounded by the sounds of the rainforest, preparing for the wonders ahead.

Day 2: Sunrise, Wildlife & Jungle Adventures at Yanayacu Lodge 5:00 AM – Glide through the tranquil river on a canoe excursion, witnessing a breathtaking Amazonian sunrise while spotting vibrant birds in their morning symphony. 7:30 AM – After breakfast, embark on an ethnobotanical hike through the flooded forest, where towering ceibas, kapoks, and Machira Coriáceas tell centuries-old tales. Keep your eyes open for monkeys, sloths, and other hidden wonders of the rainforest. 2:00 PM – Lunch at the lodge, refueling for the night’s adventure. 4:00 PM – Get ready for an unforgettable camping experience deep in the jungle, forging a spiritual connection with Pachamama. As the fire crackles, enjoy a barbecue under the stars, listening to local legends passed down through generations. Finally, venture into the mystical night on a short hike, spotting the eerie glow of tarantulas and exotic insects lurking in the darkness. A night of true Amazonian magic awaits!

Day 3: Monkey Encounters, Yagua Traditions & Farewell to the Amazon 7:00 AM – After breakfast, we set off to Monkey Island, a primate rescue center, where you can interact, play, and observe these curious creatures in their natural environment. Next, we visit a Yagua community, where indigenous artisans share their ancestral crafts and traditional dances, offering a glimpse into their rich cultural heritage. Before leaving, take a refreshing dip in the legendary Amazon River, a symbolic farewell to the jungle’s embrace. 2:00 PM – After a final jungle lunch, we bid farewell to Yanayacu Lodge and begin our journey back to Iquitos. 5:00 PM – Arrival in the city, where we’ll provide transportation to your hotel or airport, marking the end of an unforgettable Amazonian adventure. The magic of the rainforest will stay with you forever!
