    Day 1

    Bellavista Port - Monkey Island - Pink Dolphin Spotting - Nocturnal Jungle Hike - Jungle Lodge

    We'll pick you up from Iquitos airport or your hotel. Then, we'll drive to Bellavista port. Once there, we'll navigate 70km to our Jungle Lodge. Along the way, we'll spot some caimans and turtles swimming in the river. After having a traditional lunch at the lodge, we'll visit Monkey Island. We'll be able to spot different species of monkeys, caimans and turtles. Afterwards, we'll do some pink river dolphin spotting. Next, we'll return to the lodge for dinner. Afterwards, we'll have a guided hike night to the rainforest. We'll spot some nocturnal animals such as lizards, monkeys and insects.

    Wildlife Spotting - Victoria Regia Spotting - Night Tour - Jungle Lodge

    After having breakfast, we'll navigate to the Amazon basin to have a wildlife tour. We'll explore the beautiful rainforest and spot the many animals and plants that live there. Next, we'll have lunch and sail back to the Amazon river to fish piranhas and catfishes. We'll also see the giant aquatic plants known as Victoira Reiga. Then, we'll return to the lodge after witnessing the sunset. After having dinner, we'll go on a short excursion to watch caimans at night.

    Palo Alto Viewpoint - Wildlife Spotting - Jungle Lagoon Visit - Palo Alto Camping

    After having breakfast, we'll navigate to Palo Alto viewpoint. From this place it's possible to get a bird-eye view of the Amazon rainforest. After spending some time in Palo Alto, we'll take a short canoe trip to fish piranhas. We'll also visit some lagoons located near Palo Alto. Next, we'll return to Palo Alto to have lunch. After lunch, we'll have a wildlife spotting tour followed by a short stop to watch the sunset. Then, we'll return to the lodge to have dinner and take another night hike. Finally, we'll go back to Palo Alto to spend the night camping.

    Sunrise Spotting - Local Village Visit - Wildlife Spotting - Night Tour - Jungle Lodge

    We'll have breakfast early in the morning to watch the sunrise. Then, we'll visit a local native village to learn more about the customs of the Amazon rainforest inhabitants. Afterwards, we'll return to the Jungle Lodge for lunch. Next, we'll explore some lagoons and tributaries located near the lodge. You'll have the chance to enjoy jungle activities such as canoe riding, fishing, animal spotting, and swimming in the waters of the Amazon river. After returning to the lodge for dinner, we'll have another nocturnal hike to the rainforest.

    Jungle Hike - Giant Ceiba Tree Visit - Yungas Tribe - Iquitos

    We'll have a short guided jungle hike after having breakfast. We'll visit the incredible Giant Ceiba trees, one of the largest plants of the Amazon rainforest. During this short trip, we'll have a final chance to appreciate the astonishing flora and fauna of the Amazon. Then, we'll return to the lodge to take a boat to go back to Iquitos city. Once there, we'll visit the Yungas tribe to learn about their local customs and traditions. Finally, we'll transfer you back to your hotel or the Iquitos airport.
