Lake Elemantaita is located between Lake Naivasha and Lake Nakuru in the Rift Valley of Kenya. The salt lake is known for its rich avifauna, among other huge concentrations of Greater and Lesser flamingos.

Pick up from Nairobi at 7 am and proceed to Lake Elementaita which is a true African paradise. Prepare yourself for the most adventurous day trip. The adventure starts with a hike to the nearby hill ; sleeping warrior which as the name suggests resembles a warrior sleeping. This will be followed by a gentle walk along the shores of the lake, you will have the chance to enjoy the spectacular bird life including the notable pink flamingos, pelicans and herons just to name a few. All meals and overnight at Lake Elementaita Nature Pebbles Suites & Spa/similar.
Breakfast at the hotel and thereafter proceed to Soysambu Conservancy for a game drive. You can have an optional game drive on horseback at an extra fee. It’s a unique and beautiful wildlife reserve, that lies on the border of the Elmenteita Badlands and Lake Nakuru National Park in Kenya’s Rift Valley Province. Vast areas of glassy lakes, beautiful wetlands, and purple mountains create scenes perfect for walking tours, game drives, and self-exploration adventures. Later, proceed to the Kariandusi Pre-Historic Site. Is an archaeological site hosting records from the Lower Paleolithic. It is believed that this area had large water basins. It is believed that a lake-level rise drove off the pre-historic men, and they left their tools behind. It is one of the oldest in situ Acheulian sites in East Africa (700,000 to 1 million years old). In the afternoon, return to Nairobi with drop-off at your hotel or airport.
