Rhino Fund Uganda
Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Uganda is home to around 30 endangered southern white rhinos, offering visitors the opportunity to take a guided walking safari to observe these magnificent animals up close. The sanctuary also boasts a diverse range of other wildlife and over 300 species of birds, making it a must-visit for nature lovers. Visitors to the sanctuary take a guided walking safari to observe the rhinos up close, accompanied by an experienced ranger. During the safari, visitors can learn about the biology and behavior of these magnificent animals, as well as the efforts being made to protect them from extinction.

Game drive and boat cruise

Murchison Falls National Park
Take an early morning game drive through the park's vast savannah plains, keeping an eye out for diverse bird species such as the shoebill stork, Abyssinian ground hornbill, and Goliath heron. You may also spot elephants, lions, giraffes, buffalo, and various antelope species. After the game drive, return to your accommodation for a leisurely brunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Nile River to the base of the Murchison Falls. Marvel at the abundant birdlife, including African fish eagles, pelicans, and herons. Keep an eye out for hippos, crocodiles, and other wildlife basking along the riverbanks.

Return to Kampala/Entebbe

Murchison Falls National Park
The morning game drive begins before sunrise to maximize wildlife sightings during the cooler hours when animals are more active. Visitors wake up early, have a quick breakfast, and meet their safari guide. Visitors hop into a 4x4 safari vehicle, specially designed for wildlife viewing, and set off on their adventure. The guide will drive along the park's designated routes, providing excellent opportunities to encounter a variety of wildlife. As the vehicle traverses the park's vast savannah plains, visitors keep their eyes peeled for animals such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, antelopes, and numerous bird species. The guide uses their expertise to track animals and locate their whereabouts, ensuring an immersive wildlife experience. After the game drive, visitors return to their hotel or chosen accommodation to freshen up and prepare for their departure back to Kampala. They can gather their belongings, settle any outstanding bills, and bid farewell to the staff.
