The Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis, is a stunning, rescued Ptolemaic-era complex located on Agilkia Island near Aswan, Egypt. Originally on Philae Island, the "Jewel of the Nile" was moved stone-by-stone in the 1960s by UNESCO to prevent submersion by the High Dam.
