Day 2
Salinas salt lagoon full day rip from Arequipa

07:00 Pick up from your hotel in Arequipa then you will enjoy a scenic 3-hour drive to the Salinas Lagoon. You will take a paved road, heading towards Baños de Jesús and Chiguata (3000M) and then uphill, following dirt roads and bumps in the slopes of Pichu Pichu. You will then visit Salinas Luicho, where you might find native wildlife, such as South American camelids, llamas, alpacas and various bird species. You might also enter Salinas Salt, if there's enough water in the lagoon. You will take in the sights of Ñuñu (a little volcano) and the Ubinas volcano. Your visit will also include a hike (optional 3 km maximum). You will return to Arequipa at 5:00pm approximately. Size of the group: Private tour only you.

Day 3
Arequipa - Salinas National Reserve - Colca with short hike at Yanque village

After 3 hours of travel and 4 hours in total with the stops we will arrive at the town of Chivay which is the capital of that valley. We can have lunch (on your expenses) Then we will go to our hotel. Check in. Colca Canyon viewpoint - Condors - Puno

06:45 After breakfast we are going to heading our journey to the viewpoint of the Colca Canyon including the condors cross for a spectacular view of the flight of the Condors also to observe the depth of the Colca canyon, we stop more than an hour there. During our back we have some little stops in the traditional villages as Maca, Yanque and viewpoints as Choquetico and antahuillque. Finishing our trip at this quiet and picturesque valley we continuing our journey to Puno city that is our finally destination of this day. On the way will visit the The TOMBS OF SILLUSTANI show pre-Inca characteristics that were later redressed with Inca stone blocks. Visiting islands as Uros and Taquile by boat full day (group tour)

Uros Floating Islands
06:30 Early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Puno by our local guide and then transferred to the harbor. We start off our boat excursion of Lake Titicaca by visiting “The Uros Floating Islands”, a small community that has lived on these reed Islands for decades. Centuries ago the small indigenous Uros tribe conceived of the islands as a way to isolate and protect themselves from rival tribes, the Collas and the Incas. The best way to help local people in this island is to buy their artisan products.

“Taquile Island” a traditional Quechua speaking community, full of ancient agricultural terraces. The Taquile population was relatively isolated from the mainland until 1950s, and the notion of the community and family is still very strong among them. The weaving tradition of the Taquile Island goes back to early civilizations, thus keeps elements from pre-Inca Andean cultures alive in the present. All weaving is done on pre-Inca fixed and pedal looms. The most characteristic garments are the so-called “Chullo”. When we reach the shores of Taquile Island, we will have to walk up along a narrow path, enjoying on the way impressive views of the Lake Titicaca and also see gorgeous little houses inhabited by the direct decedents of the Inca Culture. At the top of the Island, you will have free time to explore this place on your own and afterwards you will have time for lunch. Then we will descent to the harbor to take our boat back. We will arrive in Puno at 5pm then transfer to your hotel

At 20:15 hours we will pick you up from your hotel in Puno then we will transfers you to the bus station in Puno to travel by CRUZ DEL SUR night bus heading our journey to Cusco it takes you 7hours. Departure: 22:00hours (we should be at the station one hour before) Arriving in Cusco:Next day at 4:30am and our driver will wait you at the bus station to picks up you and transfer you to the hotel. Very early in the morning we will pick you from your hotel in Cusco to the train station, to start your Machu Picchu trip for 1 day. In Ollantaytambo or Poroy we will board the train that passes through the Sacred Valley of the Incas until we reach the town of Aguas Calientes. We will pick you from the train station in Aguas Calientes to take you to the bus station, we will take the bus that will take you to the Archaeological Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. The trip lasts 30 minutes, we will finally arrive in Machu Picchu where you will recharge your energies and also enjoy the breathtaking view from the top of the mountain where our guide will begin the guided tour so you can know better the history and architecture of the Inca Citadel of Machu Picchu. According our tour package this 9th day is free by your own. But you could book separately this magical option: The Rainbow Mountain in Peru definitely one of the top places to visit in Cusco. We highly recommend doing the three Rainbows hike and get to know these postcard-like mountains and its unique landscape. The Rainbow Mountains in Peru will astonish you immediately because of their variety of colors due to the existing minerals in the soil. This is not the typical trekking tour to the Vinicunca Rainbow Mountain where you will be with hundreds of other tourists fighting to get the best photo with no people on it. This is the alternative rainbow mountain tour on which you will not only see "one" Rainbow Mountain but three and the hike is only 1 hour (1.5 km/0.9 miles each way) instead of 3 hours.
