Experience 3 authentic local Kenyan experiences with a local food blogger/writer.

I have been a food local guide for 8 years and a well established food writer & Food blogger in Kenya. I will help you discover the local life & culture through food, share tips & tricks about local life. I'll take you to safe places where you would not ordinary venture to as a tourist and show you what life is like in terms of food, how we move, eat and cook. We'll weave through the local farmers market as we source our local fresh produce. I'll help you discover the wonders of the local market, fruits & vegetables.

Afterwards we will prep & cook together a Kenyan local/traditional meal from scratch as we chat and catch up :)

Kindly ask the Uber driver to drop you at "The Westlands Square Mall" along Waiyaki Way opposite The Mall". The location pin is accurate. I will be waiting for you at the front main entrance/car park so that we can begin the experience. 15 minutes wait time.

What to expect

This activity involves 3 amazing Kenyan Experiences?
1. Local famers Market Tour
2. Matatu Experience (Public Transport experience)
3. Cooking class (Kenyan Cuisine) at my home.

After meeting, we will take a visit/tour to the farmers market and do some grocery shopping.. (You can totally skip this if you are not feeling up to it) You will get to interact with the locals and see the fresh produce used to make our dish which are fresh from the farm.

Have a perspective of local life, vibe and culture.

During the experience we will make a complete Kenyan meal. A main dish and a side dish with veggies. The session lasts 3 to 3.5 hrs.

After the experience guests can carry the foods prepared.

Be prepared to have fun and get your hands dirty :). If you would like to watch that`s fine too.

If, however, you would to turn up and enjoy the home cooked meal without the hustle of going to the market, you are also welcomed.
