  Parque El Olivar de San Isidro

What You Will Do: Stroll through a living forest of over 1,500 olive trees, some planted nearly 500 years ago. You will explore the charming surrounding neighborhood, famous for its traditional architecture and hidden libraries. It is a perfect spot for a relaxing walk, birdwatching, and learning about the history of oil production in colonial Peru. What You Will See: Marvel at the twisted, centuries-old trunks of the olive trees and the beautiful central lagoon where locals feed the ducks. You will see over 30 species of birds, including bright vermilion flycatchers.
