    Museo de Sitio y Santuario Arqueologico de Pachacamac

    Two hous tour in the Pachacamac Archaeological Sanctuary which is one of the most important sites on the central coast of Peru. Pachacamac was a great religious and pilgrimage center that was active for more than a thousand years, successively occupied by four cultures. Among the main attractions they will visit are: The Painted Temple (or Temple of Pachacamac), dedicated to the main deity, where remains of mural decoration are still preserved. The Palace of the Mamacona (Acllahuasi) The Pachacamac Site Museum, modern and award-winning, which displays pieces recovered from the sanctuary, including the famous Idol of Pachacamac, a wooden totem carved more than a thousand years ago, considered the centerpiece of the complex.
