Journey to Bahariya Oasis

After a refreshing breakfast at the camp, we embark on a scenic drive towards the Bahariya Oasis, a journey of approximately 6 hours covering around 440 kilometers. As we traverse the desert landscapes, you'll witness the changing terrain and appreciate the vastness of this ancient land.

Bahariya Oasis
Upon arrival at the Bahariya Oasis, a welcome lunch awaits. This verdant oasis, dotted with palm trees and natural springs, offers a stark contrast to the arid desert we've traversed. After lunch, we delve into the highlights of Bahariya, beginning with a visit to the Salty Lake, known for its high mineral content and unique appearance. Our afternoon exploration continues with visits to Dest (Pyramid Mountain), a distinctive rock formation resembling a pyramid, and Maghrafa Mountain, offering panoramic views of the oasis.
