What to expect
The route moves through one of Amsterdam's most architecturally striking neighbourhoods — the broad avenues and monumental facades of the Museum Quarter. The Van Gogh Museum's exterior is an early clue location, with a riddle that asks you to notice something about the building that most visitors ignore while queuing to go inside. The Rijksmuseum, with its ornate Gothic facade and the passage running through its ground floor, features in an observation task that rewards careful looking. The Seven Country Houses brings a photo challenge that gets the whole group working together. Between stops, Vondelpark is nearby if you want to take a break; there's no time pressure and you can move at your own speed.
