    PRAGUE to VIENNA

    Kutna Hora

    On our first day we'll say bye - bye to Prague for a while and after 9am pickup from your hotel, we'll be heading one hour east to reach Kutna Hora - UNESCO listed since 1995 and once famous and important town called a "capitol of silver" in Europe. We will take you on a short 45 minutes walking tour through the old town, seeing the Cathedral of St. Barbara, Jesuit College and we'll also make sure that you won't miss one of the local & lovely coffee spots to make your day even better. We will drive then 5 minutes away from the town centre to see another unique attraction that this place has to offer - the Bone Church of Sedlec, which has a very interesting history and it's interior is completely decorated - as the name says, with a real human bones ;-)

    After Kutna Hora, we'll be driving south through a lovely countyside for not even 2 hours, where we'll find ourself at another beautiful town of Telc - pearl of Renaissance architecture listed in UNESCO since 1992, once an important stop on a major trading route between Prague and Vienna which brought a welt into this place. We will sit down for a lunch and then we'll take you on a short 30 minutes walking tour to see all the beauty of this place after which you'll have another 30 minutes just for yourself. We'll be leaving around 4pm, heading southeast, planning to be at your hotel in Vienna at 6:30pm. Evening at Vienna on your own ;-) Please note: Hotel is not included in the price and you have to book it on your own, but once you book this tour, we are here to assist you if you will like to ;-)

    VIENNA

    Vienna

    We will dedicate our day 2 completely to Vienna itself, starting with a morning visit of Schönbrunn - former summer palace of Habsburg family, followed by showing you a sample of very unique architecture of Hundertwasser on one of Viennese streets. We'll move then to the old town to give you a 2 hours walking tour that starts at Vienna State Opera and covers art museum of Albertina, Austrian National Library, Hofburg Palace, Museum Square, St. Stephens Cathedral and Kärntner Street. We will surely have time to sneak in the famous and legendary "Cafe Demel" to try their outstanding coffee and pastries ;-) After the walking tour, time for your lunch and free second part of the afternoon plus evening just for yourself... perhaps a good idea to book a classical concert ;-)

    VIENNA to SALZBURG

    Today we will leave Vienna and the first stop on the way to Salzburg will be a very pretty small medieval town of Dürnstein, which history is dating back to the 12th century and it is beautifully set to overlooking the Danube river and nice part of this famous Austrian wine & apricot region ;-)

    Hallstatt

    When we're done in Dürnstein, we'll be heading closer to the Alpine range, seeing beautiful lakes along the way and arriving to Hallstatt approximately at 2pm. It is planned to have a lunch over here but if you will like to, we can also stop on some other place earlier. Hallstatt is considered to be the oldest village in Austria since it's findings from the Bronz Age. We'll take you around, making sure you won't miss any from the top photography spots of this lovely place and we also give you some time for yourself at the end. Last part of our day will be the one hour scenic drive towards the Salzburg, passing by picturesque lakes, meadows, lovely Alpine villages as well as a headquarter of the Red Bull company ;-) At 6pm check in to your hotel at Salzburg.     SALZBURG

    Salzburg

    Today we will stay in Salzburg and surrounding area, starting with a walking tour in the morning that will take us first to the Mirabell Palace built in 1606 and to it's magnificent gardens, followed by seeing a house where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born, oldest still existing part of Salzburg - St. Peter's Cemetery, mighty fortress on top of the hill visible far from a distance and a majestic Dome of Salzburg. If weather permits, we will take you by car to a wonderful lookout called "Roof of Salzburg", and for "Sound of Music" enthusiasts, we will drive you 40 minutes south of Salzburg to see and experience the meadow where Maria was picnicking with all the kids :-) ...as a addition to many other movie locations that we will show you throughout the day - including the convent ;-) Free time for you in later afternoon and evening ;-)

    SALZBURG to PRAGUE

    Cesky Krumlov

    Our last day is here but you have still a lot to see... departing at 9am again and later crossing back to Czech Republic, we will arrive to a real medieval gem - town of Cesky Krumlov listed by UNESCO from 1992. We'll take you on a one hour walking tour where you will feel like you just moved back in time by 500 years, followed by a lunch at very unique restaurant and later one hour just for yourself to soak up the fantastic atmosphere of this place that you will never forget ;-) Leaving at 2:30pm... you can choose what would you like to see next along the way - either a little UNESCO listed village Holasovice set in a lovely countryside and famous for it's complex of houses done in so called "Rural Baroque" style or stopping on a fairytale castle Hluboka to admiring it's architecture and gardens. We should be back to Prague at 6pm and that is it... just 5 days full of memories ;-)
