Participants will experience the first and only premium coffee laboratory in the Colombian Caribbean. They will enjoy a unique experience in the hands of our expert barista María Julio. She is one of the internationally certified baristas in Colombia and a judge and instructor of the national federation of Colombian coffee. You will learn all about the process of Colombian coffee, why it is considered the best mild coffee in the world and how to taste a good coffee.

What to expect
In our activity, you will dive into the magic of premium Colombian coffee through a unique sensory experience. You will learn the history of coffee, from its origins to its transformation, uncovering the secrets of this beloved beverage worldwide.
Venturing into our coffee lab, you will experience up close the process that takes coffee from the parchment-covered bean to your cup. We will invite you to activate your taste buds and sensory receptors through different elements and textures of cupping, so you can appreciate and distinguish the characteristics of the various profiles of specialty coffees we prepare using different brewing methods.
As you explore the flavors and textures of the coffees, you will develop basic sensory skills that will allow you to perceive and distinguish the different nuances in terms of body that coffee can offer. You will discover your preferred coffee profile, understanding your preferences and knowing how to identify them.
