    Kasubi Tombs

    We start our Kampala tours by visiting Buganda Kingdom to know more about the rich cultural heritage of Buganda (Uganda’s largest tribe) and stories of interesting early civilization in the Kingdom. From there we visit the Kasubi Tombs were the Kabakas (Kings of Buganda) are buried and learn about interesting beliefs about what happens to the kings when they pass on and why the reigning king is not supposed to go the tomb. As a result the site remains and important place for the Ganda people. We shall end the day with a vist at Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo where 22 martrys were burnt alive by King of Buganda called Kabaka Mwanga
