Seamless Logistics: Flight & Luggage Guidelines
Arrival (Day 1): Your flight must land in Leticia (LET) before 12:00 PM to begin the expedition that same day.
Departure (Day 5): Book your return flight for any time after 12:00 PM to allow for the river transfer and city tour.
Luggage Storage: We provide secure luggage storage. You can bring your suitcases to Puerto Nariño, where we will keep them safe.
You will have full access to them on Day 3 after checking into your hotel.
Day 1 & 2 Essentials: Please have one small backpack ready with essentials for your first and second nights in the jungle cabins.
To ensure your comfort during jungle treks, please bring only what is necessary and avoid carrying too much weight.
Alternative Option: Our trusted coordinator in Leticia, Don Carlos, can also keep your luggage safe. If you choose this option, please note you will not have access to it until the final day of the tour.
Embark on a private 2 km trek deep into the primary rainforest to reach a secluded sanctuary surrounded by a mystical 'Aguajal' (palm swamp ecosystem). Here, you will be welcomed by Carlos and his local Ticuna family, guardians of this land, who will share the secrets of the jungle, their ancestral traditions, and the 'Chagra' (indigenous cultivation). After a traditional wood-fired dinner prepared by the family, immerse yourself in the deafening magic of the Amazon after dark. Deep Jungle Expedition: Amacayacu to San Martín: after breakfast at te Wochine reserve, embark on a challenging 8-kilometer trek through the high jungle of Amacayacu. Over three immersive hours, navigate through dense palm forests and stand beneath giant ancient trees, witnessing the raw ecosystem of the deep Amazon. Keep your senses sharp to spot diverse wildlife, insects, and reptiles in their undisturbed habitat. The adventure concludes with an authentic cultural lunch hosted by the indigenous community of San Martín de Amacayacu.

Puerto Nariño: The Sustainable Oasis: Arrive at the charming town of Puerto Nariño, an eco-friendly haven inhabited by 3,800 people where no motorized vehicles circulate. Walk past colorful wooden houses, fruit trees, and the vibrant farmers' market on the way to your hotel. The experience includes a visit to local artisans and the "Natütama" Museum to understand the fascinating underwater world of the Amazon river.
Climb the Puerto Nariño observation tower for one last, breathtaking view of the vast green ocean you just explored—a moment to reflect on your jungle conquest. Enjoy a local exotic fruit ice cream before boarding the express boat for a 2-hour scenic journey back to Leticia.
