Seamless Logistics: Flight & Luggage Guidelines
Arrival (Day 1): Your flight must land in Leticia (LET) before 12:00 PM to begin the expedition that same day (the earlier the landing, the better).
Departure (Day 4): Book your return flight for any time after 12:00 PM to allow for the river transfer and city tour. (the later the boarding, the better).
Luggage Storage: We provide secure luggage storage. You can bring your suitcases to Puerto Nariño, where we will keep them safe. You will have full access to them on Day 2 after checking into your hotel.
Day 1 Essentials: Please have one small backpack ready with essentials for your first night in the jungle cabin. To ensure your comfort during jungle treks, please bring only what is necessary and avoid carrying too much weight.
Alternative Option: Our trusted coordinator in Leticia, Don Carlos, can also keep your luggage safe. If you choose this option, please note you will not have access to it until the final day of the tour.
Your expedition begins with a private greeting at the Leticia port followed by a scenic 70 km journey along the Amazon River to the sustainable town of Puerto Nariño. Experience a guided tour through this unique car-free port before embarking on a 2 km trek deep into the rainforest. Your destination is a private jungle cabin managed by a local Ticuna family, where you will enjoy an authentic wood-fired dinner and witness the enigmatic nocturnal life of the Amazon.
Wake up to the magic of a misty Amazonian sunrise surrounded by towering trees and the morning symphony of the rainforest.
