Why Oxígeno Amazonas?
Because this is our masterpiece.
We are Karla and Darwis, and we invite you to the "Amazon Odyssey"—our most profound cross-border immersion.
This is not a standard tour; it is a 6-day private journey through the heart of Colombia, Peru, and Brazil.
As locals we designed this trip for those who reject the artificial.
We offer a "No-Rush" philosophy: if the jungle calls or a sunset in the Peruvian Amazon deserves two more hours, we stay.
No rigid corporate clocks allowed.
You will sleep in remote cabins, trek primary rainforests, and connect with indigenous neighbors who are part of our team.
Your journey directly supports local conservation and families.
We value human trust above all: no deposit is required because our word is our contract.
Experience the raw power of the wild with people who call it home. No disguises, no fake luxury—just the soulful truth of the Amazon.
Come as a traveler, leave as a friend.

Your journey starts with a private pickup in Leticia, heading straight for a deep immersion into the primary forest. We leave the noise behind to experience a guided night walk, discovering the jungle's nocturnal life.
Morning: Before our trek, we visit the Wochine Reserve to enjoy a local breakfast and witness the legendary Pirarucu, the giant of the Amazon. Trek: We then embark on an 8km trek through the Amacayacu National Park to reach the San Martín community.
Traditional craft workshop (basketry or wood carving) taught in native language by indigenous elders. Afterward, a refreshing swim in the dark, healing waters of the Amacayacu River. Night: An exclusive night trek is available for the bold adventurers who choose to sleep deep in the woods.
Pre-Breakfast Jungle Awakening: We venture out at the crack of dawn, the precise window when the forest is most alive and vibrant. This is the peak hour for birdwatching, when the morning choir is at its peak and the raw colors of the Amazon reveal themselves in the first light. It’s an intimate, unscripted spectacle of life that only happens before the rest of the world wakes up.
Sail to the Tarapoto Lakes (a Ramsar protected site) to witness one of the most stunning sunsets in the Amazon. Experience the thrill of piranha fishing and a private swim in the lake alongside legendary pink and grey river dolphins. As darkness falls, embark on a night safari to spot black caimans and other nocturnal wildlife.
Activities: Cross the border into the Peruvian Amazon to the community of San Antonio del Cacao. The morning is dedicated to sloth watching in their natural habitat, followed by a traditional local lunch in the community. In the afternoon, we embark on a trek through the island to find the Oje, a majestic tree over 300 years old hidden in the heart of the forest. Sleep in Hidden Island Cabin. Spend the night in a secluded cabin deep within the flooded forest. This is "Radical Privacy" at its most authentic, surrounded only by the sounds of the water and the wild.
Morning: We visit the Mocagua community, home to the Maikuchiga Foundation, a dedicated sanctuary for the recovery and conservation of primates. You will learn firsthand about their rehabilitation process. Afterward, we enjoy a typical local lunch in the heart of the community.
Afternoon: Experience the magic of the water. Depending on the season, we offer a private kayak journey through the flooded forest (High Water) or a boat expedition to the Great River islands for pink and gray dolphin watching (Low Water). For those seeking a slower pace, a curated cultural city tour of Puerto Nariño is available.
A final river voyage back to Leticia, exploring the unique cultural blend where Colombia, Peru, and Brazil meet. Includes a private transfer to the airport.
