    The Temple of Edfu is an ancient Egyptian temple situated on the west bank of the Nile in the city of Edfu, about an hour south of Luxor. This well-preserved temple, dedicated to the falcon-headed god Horus, was known in Greco-Roman times as Apollonopolis Magna, named after Horus-Apollo.

    Temple of Kom Ombo

    Continue your journey to Kom Ombo City, where you will visit the remarkable Temple of Kom Ombo. This unique double temple, constructed during the Ptolemaic dynasty and later expanded in the Roman period, stands out for its symmetrical design. Each section of the temple features duplicate courts, halls, sanctuaries, and rooms, dedicated to two sets of deities. The southern half of the temple is devoted to Sobek, the crocodile god of fertility and creator of the world, alongside Hathor and Khonsu.
