Departing around 5:00 AM (depending on your hotel’s location), you will head south across the Nubian desert to witness one of Egypt’s most remarkable architectural achievements. Aswan
After the optional tour, return to Aswan, where your 5-star Nile cruise awaits. Check in onboard and settle into your well-appointed cabin. Around noon, enjoy your first lunch on deck as the cruise begins its journey northward on the legendary Nile River. Rise early for one of the highlights of your entire Egypt journey: a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the monuments of ancient Thebes. You’ll be picked up from the cruise ship before dawn and transported to the balloon launch site on the west bank of Luxor.
