Our qualified Egyptologist guide will meet you at your hotel, railway station, or airport in Luxor to accompany you on a visit to the magical Karnak Temples, dedicated to the gods Amun and his wife Mut. Karnak Temples is known to historians as the place where the earliest international peace treaty was signed. Interestingly, the Egyptian version of this peace treaty was preserved on a wall in the Temple of Amun at Karnak.
Next, we will journey to the majestic Luxor Temple, built by Amenhotep III in the 18th Dynasty BC and completed by Ramesses II during the 19th Dynasty BC. Ramesses II, the most famous king of the 19th Dynasty, ruled Egypt for many years. Luxor Temple was dedicated to the great god Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, representing the Theban triad. You will also enjoy visiting the Obelisk of Ramesses II in front of the 1st Pylon.
After breakfast on board, embark on a magical tour in Thebes, the sacred land, by exploring the west bank of Luxor. Begin with the Valley of the Kings, the royal cemetery of the Theban kings and rulers of ancient Egypt, where the Pharaohs were laid to rest.
Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El Bahari, considered one of the most remarkable examples of ancient Egyptian architecture as it was carved entirely into the mountain.
Finally, conclude your tour with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon, statues belonging to King Amenhotep III.
After breakfast on board, your guide will take you on a mysterious journey to the land of secrets. The guided tour begins with a visit to one of the most wonderful temples in Egypt, the Temple of Horus in Edfu, renowned for being one of the best-preserved temples in the country.
