Your accredited Egyptologist guide will pick you up from your Luxor hotel in a private air-conditioned vehicle and take you to the legendary Valley of the Kings on the west bank of the Nile. This ancient royal necropolis is home to dozens of rock-cut tombs of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom, beautifully decorated with vivid carvings and sacred texts that reveal the beliefs of the afterlife. During your visit, you will explore several of the most impressive tombs, with the option to enhance your experience by entering the famous Tomb of Tutankhamun, one of the most iconic archaeological discoveries in the world.
The tour then continues to the magnificent Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, a stunning terraced monument carved into the limestone cliffs. Dedicated to Egypt’s most powerful female pharaoh, the temple is a masterpiece of ancient architecture, with grand colonnades, detailed reliefs, and dramatic views over the surrounding desert landscape.
